Makenzie Dickie has been spotted in Ottawa before, during, and after the Canada Day festivities. Sources say that she was staying with her cousins Sage and Gabriel.

Happy Canada Day!

Sage Bettina Mae Nakamoto was seen on Parliment Hill for Canada Day this year for the first time, but surely not the last.

The Dickie Kids and one Kim Dickie were also seen in and around Ottawa, including Parliment Hill, Major's Hill Park, the Kanata Wave Pool, etc.

Kelly and Sheila arrived safely in Calgary last night after a long day's ride out from Leroy's farm in Saskatchewan.

They plan on staying in Calgary for Sage's birthday and Thanksgiving.

Dickie / Burns Invasion

Recent reports from Radium Hot Springs, BC have turned up a large congregation of visitors from Ontario: 4 adults and 5 kids! Kim, Roger, Makenzie, Alexandra, Thomas, Georgina, Mark, Brianne, and Samantha were all seen hanging out in the Rockies.

Craig, Sara, and Sage managed to make it out for a few days to hang with the troup and take in some of the fresh mountain air, chase around some wild turkeys, swim in the pool and even hit the slopes at Sunshine!

A great time was had by all.

Makenzie Dickie and her mother Kim were recently seen on top of Sulphur Mountain in Banff National Park. The duo had a great visit to Alberta and enjoyed meeting their new cousin / niece Sage.

Their visit followed visits from 'Gram' Ann, and 'Nana' Sheila and 'Papa' Kelly, who all came out to help and meet the latest addition to Craig & Sara's family.

Sage, Sara, and Craig want to thank everyone for gifts, cards, food, and all the help!

Kelly and Sheila were completely surprised by almost 100 people last Saturday at the Blackheath Hall where a dance celebration was held in their honour.

Sheila Berry has once again won first prize for her pies at the Caledonia Fall Fair! Congratulations Sheila! She also won best overall for baking, and numerous other awards for a variety of pies, cakes, tarts, and squares.

In a statement to the press, Sheila said that she may have to stop entering the contest due to some misgivings among the local bakers. Sheila reportedly said the same thing last year...

Kim, Roger, and Makenzie Dickie are pleased to announce the arrival of Thomas Alexander Dickie (6.9 pounds) and Alexandra Madison Dickie (6.6 pounds). The twins were born earlier this morning (Friday, August 25) at McMaster Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario.
